As soon as we process the e-mail (Usually 24/48 hours) we will send you a JPG. file for you to check the pattern in detail. If you are happy with the design, we finalize the agreement and as soon as you make the payment we send you the TIFF, JPG or Pdf. files for Semi-Exclusive Licenses & Exclusive Licenses. If you need the original Ai. files, contat us.

What is a semi-exclusive pattern?

When you purchase an semi-exclusive pattern means that you are purchasing the rights to use a specific colourway of a pattern in unlimited end products for a specific market. This pattern design cannot be sold again in the same colourway to costumers in your same market during the time of agreement.

What is a Exclusive pattern?

When you purchase a Exclusive pattern means that you are purchasing the rights to use the pattern in unlimited end products for sale. This pattern design cannot be sold to other costumers and are inmediately remmoved from our collection.

Do I own the Intellectual property of the design after purchase it?

It is possible to purchase the rights to use a pattern on Premium Exclusive, Exclusive and Semi-exclusive terms.
Ownership of all intellectual property rights in the designs listed on our Website shall remain with Loupen Design Studio at all times. When you use our Website to purchase a licence of a design, you are purchasing rights to use the design rather than ownership of the intellectual property rights in that design. You may not make any claim to own the intellectual property rights in the design nor claim the design as your own work.
Reselling, sub-licensing or passing the pattern on to a third party is strictly prohibited.

What about colour matching/pantones?

We can supply pantone colours if desired, however due to screen calibration affecting the appearance of colours we strongly recommend that you choose or check the colours yourself in your pantone book. If you don’t have one you can send the factory colour fabric swatches for colour reference.
